Hunny Bunny’s Secret Sanctuary was established in 2018.We are a 501 (C) (3) Non- Profit. Here we dedicate our time to loving the animals that come to our doorstep. Many of those come with injuries and illness such as cancer. Some animals are here to live out their last days as happy as they could be.

We have gladly received most of our horses from Thomas School of Horsemanship. There are many reasons a person or facility cannot keep animals around. We are their safe haven. A place for them to call home when they need it the most. Here they’ll receive the food, shelter, medical attention, and mostly love that they all deserve.

Previously we have rescued, treated, trained, and rehomed a plethora of dogs. Currently, our goal is to treat our dogs for their cancer and give them the best last years we can.

The owner of this establishment is Patty Durso. She has the kindest heart you will ever find. She has loved pets since she was a little girl. Growing up she handled many rescue dogs and wild horses. In her early adult hood, she began working side-by-side with rescues and other activists like herself standing for animal rights. It has been her dream for her entire life to own a rescue sanctuary. Patty works close with the best veterinarians in New York State to give every animal the best treatment and care for their individual needs.
